This cutting photo dates back to a period shortly after 1970. It was published in "The Valley Horse News" as part of an article describing a Purina event demonstrating various aspects of equine performance.
Note the bridle in Darrell's right hand,
not on the horse! And we thought 'bridleless' riding was some new fangled innovation.
